Day Services Enhancing Communication Skills

Everyone has something to say

We provide an environment where adults who have limited verbal skills or nonverbal skills can learn the power of communication through many different avenues. Adults are taught how to communicate their basic needs and wants while others learn to ask questions, give their opinions and tell you what they think. Through speech and language therapy and the use of augmentative communication systems many persons at TARC are talking to us.

I can tell people what I want and need.

I can tell people what I like and don't like.

I can tell you who I am.
