The Housekeeping Aide will work 30 hours per week and will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of restrooms, maintaining supplies for restrooms and trash removal. Additional duties may include dusting and cleaning offices, polishing furniture, washing walls and windows as time allows, and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years work experience in custodial/housekeeping duties.
- Must have and maintain a valid Kansas Driver’s License as well as a satisfactory driving record.

Pediatric Therapists

Unique opportunity for Pediatric Therapists
Come join a recognized quality early intervention program located at TARC in Topeka, KS. Additional funding has allowed for the hiring of new therapists to join the current staff of twenty four therapists, social workers and educators.
Our Children’s Services program is seeking creative and quality driven therapists to work with families that include children birth to age three with disabilities or developmental delays.
Therapists will work as part of a multidisciplinary team conducting evaluations and providing intervention and support services in children’s homes, childcare settings and other community locations.
Applicant must have current certification/licensure in Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy. Successful candidates will be employed through Southeast Education Center (Greenbush) and placed at TARC in Topeka, KS. Consideration will be given for full or part-time hours.

Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

Exciting and unique opportunity for Early Childhood Special Education Teacher.
Southeast Kansas Education Center is taking applications for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. Successful candidate will be part of an Early Intervention Team at TARC and will support a community program partnership with Community Action Early Head Start/Head Start and YMCA. This position will provide instruction and support within multi-age childcare classrooms for children birth through three years of age.
Responsibilities also include family service coordination, consultation for families and staff, program planning and development of appropriate interventions and strategies. Desirable qualifications include demonstrated skills in child assessments, extensive knowledge of child development for children birth through three years of age, strong communication skills, understanding of Part C program regulations and guidelines and knowledge of current research regarding effective strategies with young children and family centered practices.
- Degree in Early Childhood with current licensure for the State of Kansas in Early Childhood Special Education is required. Masters Degree preferred.
- Four Years experience working with children with developmental delays/disabilities preferred.
- Must have and maintain a valid Kansas Drivers License as well as satisfactory driving record.
