TARC would like you to become a part of our outstanding Case Management Team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service and support to make a positive impact in the lives of people with developmental and related disabilities and their families.
- Must be able to handle crisis situations as well as develop positive professional relationships with many different persons. Assist in determining needs and preferred lifestyle. Case managers help persons obtain services and resources to meet their needs and then monitor those services and resources. Flexibility and strong organizational skills will be key components of this position.
- Successful candidates will also have strong computer skills for maintaining accurate records, be registered with the State of Kansas, commit to a Code of Ethics and have successfully completed the online assessment.
- Knowledge of MR/DD Services approved by Medicaid for Case Management Services and an understanding of the billing process a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field is requested.
- Must have and maintain a valid Kansas Driver’s License as well as a satisfactory driving record. All applicants will be required to present a current Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) at the time of application.

Exciting and Unique Opportunity for Direct Support Professionals
TARC is seeking Direct Support Professionals. Successful candidate will be part of the Day Services Team and will support adults with developmental disabilities. The position will provide instruction and support within a habilitation classroom setting. Responsibilities will include implementing outcomes from individualized plans developed for adults, maintaining safe, healthy, and interactive classroom environment that facilitates numerous learning opportunities and supporting a warm, nurturing atmosphere for all adults.
Desirable qualities include strong communication skills, flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Job requirements include:

- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.

Southeast Kansas Education Center is looking for a creative and quality driven Speech and Language Pathologist to work with families that include infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities. Successful candidates will be located at TARC in Topeka, KS. The therapist will work as part of a team conducting evaluations and providing intervention and support services in children’s homes, childcare settings and other community locations.
